PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Our planet is facing threats from various quarters, including direct pollution of the environment, the air we breathe, the water we drink, anergy, resources, and land cultivation. The programme at UniKL is the application of science and chemical engineering principles to improve the environment (air, water, and/or land resources), to provide healthy water, air, and land for human habitation and for other organisms, and to remediate polluted sites.

The programme also involves water and air pollution control, recyling, waste disposal, and public health issues. These are also job oppurtunities offered by private sectors such a Environmental Safety and Health Engineer, Safety and Health Engineers, Safety Officers, Environment Engineers and as consultancy firms.

Almost all of the multi national companies (MNS), small and medium companies (SMI) are very concerned about environment, therefore the need of expertise is in demand. This course will offer a lot of job opportunities.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

LOCAL APPLICANTS

Malaysian University Examination Test (MUET) : Band 2

AND

A Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in 3 subjects including Mathematics and one science subject and A Pass in (SPM)or its equivalents and a pass in English

OR

A Pass in Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in relevant fields from UniKL or from other recognized higher learning institutions by Malaysian Government

OR

Pass in UniKL Foundation in Science and Technology or its equivalents from UniKL or other recognized higher learning institutions by Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; OR Pass in Matriculation in relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
