Halal Executive Program

Halal executives are required to fill up various food industries and related areas in order to execute explicitly the halal product chains locally. The programme covers four important cores:

  1. Halal Technology
  2. Shariah, Law and Standard
  3. Auditing
  4. Halal Analysis

The programme also provides a distinctive strength in halal alternative technologies to existing non-compliance practices in Food Processing technologies, covering Food, Beverages, nutraceuticals and Pharmaceutical products.


  • Final semester Muslim student pursuing Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Life Sciences or other related areas from local university
  • Posses degree or diploma in the relevant disciplines such as Food Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering or other relevant field of studies
  • Graduates at present working in industries requiring Halal management
  • Excellent attitude and enthusiasm to learn and contribute to the Halal Industry

UniKL Branch Malaysia Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering Technology (UniKL MICET) is organizing a Professional Course of Halal Executive (Jan 2019 – Part-time weekend mode).
This course focused on the development of knowledge and the implementation of halal practice in many different industries in Malaysia especially food production and management. It is a comprehensive theory and hands-on course which requires the participants to be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and abilities to apply in providing excellent halal services as well as ensuring halal practices are incorporated in the whole picture of a halal industry in Malaysia. Participants would be prepared for their future role as a Halal Executive through building a solid foundation in halal industrial knowledge and the essential skills. The professional course would be certified by JAKIM.
