International Student Exchange Mobility Outbound (ISEM – Inbound)

Overview
Universiti Kuala Lumpur is delighted to welcome international exchange students from all over the world with the opportunity to gain quality education in Malaysia. You could have the option to study here for one or two semesters at UniKL Campuses all over peninsular Malaysia or to have the opportunity to do internship at our campuses.

    120 hrs SLT/(25 hrs SLT/ECTS) = 4.8 ECTS (pprox.. 5 ECTS)

    Undergraduates studies Maximum number of credits per semester to be validated: 18 UniKL credits (equivalent to 30 ECTS per semester)
    Postgraduates studies 15 UniKL credits (equivalent to 25 ECTS credits per semester)

Accommodation

On-campus accommodation is provided

Standard room: RM120/month

Premium room: RM 250/month[1]

International room : RM 350/month

Note: Price stated is inclusive of utility bills per person.

Monthly Expense RM 600-1000 per month (self-sponsor)

[1] Students staying in Premium and International room are given RM 60/month credit for utility bills. Should they exceed the usage, they will have to pay the remaining balance at our Finance Unit.

 

Application Process

  1. Students who wish to study at UniKL MICET under inbound mobility program can take a look at courses offered.
  2. Students must apply through Home University and once approved should complete the UniKL Inbound application form together with the following documents:
  • Copy of passport page (in colour)
  • 2 copies of passport-sized photos
  • Nomination letter from Home University
  • Proof of Enrollment at Home University
  • Semester result slips (signed and stamped by Home University)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Motivation Letter
  • A copy of valid travel insurance before the start of mobility
  • UIO ISEM Learning Agreement (signed and stamped by university)
  • UIO Work Plan Proposal(applicable only to staff, intern, research students)
