Established by Parameswara in the 1390’s, Malacca is Malaysia’s historical pride and joy. The beach stretches for 2.5 km along the shore facing the Malacca Strait on the south western edge of Melaka. Rembau Museum
The Astana Raja Melewar is a replica of a 300-year-old palace of Raja Melewar, the first Yang Di-Pertuan Besar who ruled from 1773. The replica was built upon the orignal site Raja Melewar palace and was built as true as possible to its original design. This building houses several exhibition galleries including the Datuk Undang Luak Rembau institution exhibit, the Adat Perpatih exhibit, the Rembau General History exhibit, culture and traditions exhibit. A public library is also available here.

Zoo Melaka
Melaka Zoo is the second largest zoo in Malaysia. Located 13 km outside Malacca city in Ayer Keroh, it has over 1,200 animals of 200 different species. Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary is a tourist attraction in Ayer Keroh, about 15 km northeast of Malacca town. Also known as Taman Rama Rama, it is home to a collection of animals ranging from beautiful butterflies to snakes, lizards, crocodiles, koi fish and even a pair of gorgeous golden leopards.Spread across an 11 hectares of jungle area, the complex is part secondary jungle and part landscaped park.
