UniKL MICET is one of twelve UniKL campuses that always strives to provide students with all the benefits of a large institution, yet still, maintain the feel of a small college. Large lecture classes are few, while standard size classes are the norm. We encourage interaction between faculty and students and further help students to utilize the full range of services outside of the classroom.

If a student has a need, a question, a concern or is looking for assistance in exploring their academic path and extra co-curricular activities, we have staff members who are there to help. Research shows that students who are actively involved in the educational process and participate in student activities on campus are more likely to succeed in their college careers than those students who stand on theside-lines.

The Division of Student Development and Campus Lifestyle (SDCL) is responsible for most student services and programs outside of the classroom and serve in support of the mission of the University.  It is divided into 3 (three) sections: Student Development Section (SDS), Campus Lifestyle Section (CLS) and MeSRA Section.

Student Development Section supports students’ personal development through the General Studies sub-section which offers subjects which emphasize professional and ethical growth; provides services and programs that facilitate academic success via Counselling and Career Guidance; and encourage participation in co-curricular activities through the various clubs and societies established.

Campus Lifestyle Section takes care of students’ welfare and accommodation, encourages students’ athletic talents, manages international students and engage with alumni.

MeSRA is UniKL’s front liner which covers marketing, student recruitment, and admission.

All of our services and programs have been established to benefit students and to increase students’ chances for success as well as the enjoyment of their UniKL experience.
